Unpaid labour

Socialism Or Your Money Back posted earlier about the unpaid overtime performed by workers , often those in the professions . As that research stemmed from the Trade Union Congress , some may view it with a jaundiced eye. However SOYMB spotted this report .

Britons' refusal to turn off their Blackberrys or mobile phones means they are effectively working an extra 10 days a year.A fifth of UK workers keep their phones on over the weekend. 24 per cent complain they feel stressed because they are always on call. 22 per cent look at their work emails over the weekend.

Working for the boss for free .

Bosses are always looking for a way to get free labour off their workers. Only when workers actually resist this increase in exploitation will we see proper leisure time for these people.
